Your catalogue is what you can quote from. It has two halves: items you added yourself, and the live catalogue of any supplier you have connected.

Garments and variants

A garment is a style — “AS Colour Staple Tee”. A variant is one buyable version of it: style code, colour, size. Quote lines point at variants, which is why a quote can price a mixed size run correctly. Variants sharing a style code are grouped, so you pick the style once and then choose colours and sizes.

Supplier catalogues

Connecting a garment supplier pulls their catalogue in with live wholesale pricing and stock levels. That means:
  • quoting uses today’s cost, not a spreadsheet from last quarter
  • you can see whether stock exists before you promise a lead time
  • new styles appear without anyone re-keying them

Your own items

Anything the suppliers do not carry — blanks you hold, customer-supplied garments, hardware — you add yourself. Own items behave identically on quotes; they just carry the cost you set. Bulk upsert exists for shops migrating a catalogue in from another system, and it matches on style code so re-running an import updates rather than duplicates.

Assets

Garment assets are the images — product shots, colour swatches, mockup templates. Attaching them means proofs and quotes show the customer what they are actually buying.

Pre-built items

A pre-built item is a saved combination — a garment plus its usual decoration, priced — for work you sell repeatedly. Add one to a quote and the whole configuration comes with it.
