GST-free invoicing
You can now quote mixed GST and GST-free work, and it books correctly in your accounts.- Mark any quote line as GST-free.
- The setting carries onto duplicates, and from pre-built items onto the quote.
- Xero receives a GST-free line as genuinely GST-free, instead of taxable with zero tax on it.
- QuickBooks does the same, and no longer overstates the taxable amount.
- Paid sales are recorded line by line, and a full refund creates a matching credit note.
Building quotes
- Drag and drop between groups. Drag a line or decoration into another group, instead of deleting it and adding it again. The page scrolls while you drag, so you can reach a group that’s off-screen.
- Groups can be dragged by their name, and a new group opens the item chooser straight away.
- Profit margin per group. Each group card and the Revenue tile now show the profit margin. A group running at a loss shows a dash rather than a misleading number.
- Duplicating a group, line or decoration places the copy directly below the original instead of at the bottom.
- The quote Reference field keeps what you type, even if you pause, and no longer flashes back to the old value after saving.
- Swapping a garment on a quote line updates its code, name and price properly.
- Quote totals are rounded to the cent, so saves are no longer rejected.
Pricing and markup
- Pin a garment to a markup group directly, and the bulk action for it is back.
- Bulk catalogue actions now work on AS Colour styles.
- The variant pricing screen warns you when no markup group covers the garment’s category.
- A sell price you’ve set yourself is shown as such on the quote row.
- When the shop-wide default markup sets a price, the quote says so.
- Markup carries correctly through pre-built items, including decoration setup costs, and stays put when the quantity band changes or the panel is edited.
Mock-ups and proofs
- Mock versions are collapsed into one chain, and the screen says which version you’re looking at.
- A quote line carrying a Quick Mock can now be moved between groups.
- The mock builder tells you what happened during an export, rather than only offering to print.
Client portal
- Decoration charges are folded per decoration rather than per group, so customer documents itemise correctly.
- A size added from the portal now carries its real cost.
- The portal’s proof stage now splits items correctly.
Smaller fixes
- Size quantities each appear in their own column on the PDF.
- Pop-up messages across quotes, jobs, the catalogue, invoices and the portal now look and behave the same way.
- Several buttons and controls now say what they actually do.
Behind the scenes
Reliability and upkeep
Reliability and upkeep
No visible change here, but plenty of work keeping PRINTOOLS reliable: background tasks now keep running through routine security maintenance, and crash reports stay readable for older versions.
